Seoul Dance Immersion 2023

As part of Dancepointe Academy’s dance education in delivering Overseas Exchange opportunities, we are pleased to bring our mvAVE and DFK Competition Team Dancers of 8yo & above to Seoul from the 16th to 23rd December 2023, for a Dance Exchange Programme. This programme is a highlight for our whole year’s programme, and is one of the beyond classroom learning plans, besides our Annual Performance. Through this exchange, we will achieve the following objectives:

  • Experience and exposure of receiving Hiphop/Kpop Street Dance Classes with an international renowned Dance Studios in Seoul; Play The Urban & 1 Million Dance Studio

  • Expose dancers to the unique dance culture in Korea

  • Provide great inspiration to our students and

  • Enhance friendships and bonding among DPA and Korean dancers 

 

Looking forward to this exposure in December!

A brand new and dynamic faculty under Dancepointe Academy - 5th Avenue School of Jazz and Street Dance! We are pleased to engage Mr. Kim Dong Hyoung aka DK from Seoul, as the Artistic Principal of 5th Avenue Dance.

​

DK and his team of choreographers will specialise in courses such as TeachersAVE training, ChoreographyAVE, JazzfunkAVE, HipHopAVE and LyricalJazzAVE. This will increase our capacity to provide the best Street Dance, Jazz Dance, Jazz Funk and the best of Jazz Funk Kids in Singapore.
